There’s been lots of blog activity on and around the recession recently. I’ll report some of that now and when I can wrench myself away from the day job, I’ll write some real actual articles!
- BGN Entrepreneur says ‘pay-per-post’ blogging is a way to get yourself out of recession blues. I’ve never tried it - you?
- Cheviot Charlie’s Marketing Guide thinks the way to get your business through the recession is search engine optimization (SEO). And gives some useful tips.
- The oDesk blog tells us which Programming, Development and Design Skills will help techies to Survive the Recession. oDesk is a marketplace for online workteams
- Chris of ‘Blogging with Chris’ shares some tips from Partners & Levit, Inc. advertising agency. Mostly reinforcing the need to focus on customers and the ensuring your ‘brand’ works. Well ad agencies would say that. Still true though.
- Auntie Wahm (Work at Home Mom) reminds us all not to be tempted to reduce prices to compete. So true - focus on value in the eyes of the customer.
- The Capture Business Profits blog gives some useful pointers to making service pricing recession-proof. It seems hard, but in my experience these are very good pieces of practical advice - and not just for small businesses.
- Dr. Tony Youn’ Celebrity Cosmetic Surgery Blog gives us … Seven Plastic Surgery Tips to Survive the Recession. Go on. You know you want to.
